Trunk Bay Beach is owned and operated by the US Virgin Islands National Park. Trunk Bay is famous for its "Underwater Trail", marked by red, white and blue buoys. It's my favorite beach.
It located on the North Shore Road, 10 minutes from the Hillcrest.
A snack stand is available with hot dogs, hambugers and veggie burger. Also sandwiches, chips and drinks. Bar-b-que grills, picnic sheds, and souvenir stands are on site.
There is also a place to rent snorkeling equipment if you so desire.
Many beach weddings are performed here at dusk. It is a wonderful place to spend the day. A swim here, takes all your worries away.
There is a cover charge of $4.00 for adults and $1.50 for children over 16 years old. Taxis are there to take you back to the guest house or where ever you desire.
